Bordered by vertiginous cliffs, perched at an altitude of 1,313 m, the Col de la Bataille is one of the jewels in the crown of the Sublimes routes du Vercors. In 2024, artist Christophe Gonnet inaugurated a 47 m-long corbelled lookout and a work of art, the Anneau de Pierre, on the natural pass, a hybrid between an orientation table and a cairn. A 700 m pedestrian path has been laid out. This well-integrated development offers visitors a contemplative space overlooking the Combe de Bouvante, with 3 other belvederes as far as the Pas de l'Aubasse.
