The Baronnies area is located between the Alps and the Mediterranean Sea, and benefits from a mild and sunny climate and a preserved natural environment. Alicoque: New Oil Festival

This festival marks the end of the olive harvest and the moment when new oil begins to flow from the mills. This free tasting takes place on Sunday and is called "Alicoque". It is opened by the Grand Master of the Confrérie des Chevaliers de l'Olivier and the Mayor of Nyons.
Guided tour: discovering Vultures

Accompanied by one of the association's ornithologists, enter into the intimate life of the Vultures. Come and discover the methods used to reintroduce and monitor these birds.
Follow the guide in your own vehicle through the gorges of Saint-May. Observe the vultures resting in their nests from the bottom of the cliffs and set off for a walk (approx. 40 min) to observe the birds in flight on the Rocher du Caire plateau.
Equipment provided: binoculars and spotting scope. Bring walking shoes, hat and bottle of water.

Lavender flowering varies every year according to weather conditions and the location of the fields .To see fields in bloom, you'll need to come between mid-June. (beginning of flowering at lower altitudes, mostly lavandin) and mid-August (last field in flower on the Sault plateau).
