CHÂTEAU DES HOSPITALIERS
Château built by the Hospitaller Order and renovated in 1990, a must-see for its massive keep overlooking the village
Its massive and impressive keep dominates the fortified village. The château was built by the Order of the Hospitallers of St. John of Jerusalem towards the end of the 12th century, then modified in the 13th century, notably with the opening of an elegant double-arched geminate window, and again in the 15th century. During the Renaissance, a main building was added, of which most of the facade and side walls remain today. Owned by the commune, this historic monument, renovated in the 1990s, is open to visitors during the summer months, with a program of exhibitions.
