A house where you can discover the history of local pottery and the different techniques used

The Maison de la Céramique is dedicated to a local craft that has marked the region for centuries. Here you can discover the history of local pottery and its various techniques. More than 200 exhibits illustrate the rich pottery past of the Pays de Dieulefit from Gallo-Roman times and the first traces of workshops right up to the 20th century. A chronological approach that traces the evolution of production in terms of shapes and decorations. Several temporary exhibitions, workshops and lectures are held each year. Small pottery store.

Plein tarif 4 euros, réduit 3 euros, gratuit pour moins de 12 ans. L'expo permanente se limite à 2 pièces et l'exposé temporaire idem. On a très très vite fait le tour, l'expo temporaire du mois de mai n'a aucun intérêt. Très décevant au vu de tout ce que le domaine de la poterie peut nous offrir en terme de diversité, de créativité... Vous prendrez plus de plaisir à flâner dans les boutiques de potier de Dieulefit. Je ne recommande pas.

je suis très déçue par ce musée car l'exposition permanente est très réduite, pas de vidéos disponibles lors de notre visite .
