THE ABBEY CHURCH
Religious building
Recommended
The church of Saint-Menoux, which was closed and ransacked during the revolution, is a abbey, of Burgundy Romanesque style built in the th century, at the location of a first building in the th century. Inside, one discovers among others the relics of Ménulphe, an Irish bishop born in the th century, who gave his name to the village, in a stone sarcophagus embedded behind the master altar.
