RANDONNEE DES BREDINS
A 3-hour, 15 km loop through the countryside, ending with a visit to the famous débredinoire at Saint-Menoux church.
A 15 km walk in the Bocage bourbonnais, discovering the historical heritage, castles, sculptures and a section of the Santiago de Compostela route. A loop around the majestic church of Saint-Menoux. Then try the débredinoire in the church. Bredins (simpletons in patois) can be cured by inserting their heads into a hole in the sarcophagus containing the saint's relics. Some parts of the route are wet on the edge of the forest, and you'll need suitable footwear on the way back to the village.
