In the 1930s, the Aubanel family began distilling wild fine lavender. In 1950, the first lavender fields were planted. From modernization to development, the business, though still family-run and artisanal, has expanded, and during the harvest and distillation periods, lavender perfumes the village of Chamaloc. The boutique offers a wide range of lavender products, including essential oils such as rose geranium and thyme, walnut oil, honey and other local products.

Distillerie des 4 Vallées - Chamaloc (Drôme)
Nestled at the foot of the Vercors mountains, Distillerie des 4 Vallées is a family-run farm that has been perpetuating the tradition of lavender cultivation and distillation since 1930. Over some thirty hectares, different varieties of lavender and lavandin are grown, enabling us to control the entire process, from planting to harvesting.
Handcrafted distillation, carried out on site, extracts quality essential oils using traditional methods. The farm also raises sheep, horses and donkeys, adding to its diversity.
Guided tours and events
From April to October, guided tours are offered daily to discover lavender cultivation, harvesting and the distillation process. These tours offer a complete immersion, from the nursery to the essential oil.
Old-fashioned distillation workshops, lavender field walks and aromatherapy workshops are also organized to enrich visitors' experience.
Store and artisanal products
The on-site and online boutique offers a wide range of handcrafted lavender products: essential oils, floral waters, soaps, cosmetics, scented candles, diffusers, scented sachets, as well as delicacies such as chocolate, syrups and lavender jams.

Distillerie des 4 Vallées is committed to sustainable tourism, with actions in favor of air quality, water conservation, local sourcing, biodiversity, waste management and reduced energy consumption. It has been awarded several labels, including "Bienvenue à la ferme", "Haute Valeur Environnementale", "France Passion", "Les Fermes du Vercors" and "Valeurs Parc Naturel Régional".

A family tradition since 1930 - the Aubanel family grows, harvests and distills fine lavender and lavandin, on around 30 ha, then processes each plant on site, from field to finished product
Artisanal distillation and participatory workshops - our know-how is based on traditional stills, heated in the old-fashioned way. We offer daily demonstrations and workshops: sickle harvesting, bundling, distillation, separation of essential oil and hydrosol... You'll leave with your own bottle!
A precise gesture, rich in emotions - each plant is treated with care: drying, delicate handling, steam extraction... so many essential steps to preserve the aromas and quality of the oil .

En plus de pouvoir dormir en camping car (meme si pas adherent..) proche de la lavande avec possibilité wc et eau potable.
La visite de la distillerie est un incontournable.
Leur boutique est au top de chez top.
