The comic festival for children and the general public, the BD Meetings that have existed since the early 2010 s have changed their season. From 2018, they are not held at the beginning of November but at the end of May. But the formula remains the same animated by the network of mediatheists in the agglomeration of Valencia. Upstream of reading cafés are programmed and BD workshops at the Media Library of the Plan. At the meetings about thirty authors and illustrators are present at Cartoucherie around dedications, exhibitions, round tables and various animations. And since this festival focuses on adaptations of the comics in films, always projections of animated films at Cartoucherie and in partnership with the cinemas of Valencia and Romans. Also partnerships with the BD library of Valencia, La Licorne, and the Train Theater of Bourg-les-Valence. New 2018: a BD plank competition open to all.
