An impressive arch in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, a real natural wonder to discover.

It is by going to the banks of the Ardèche, about 5 km south-east of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, that you can admire this wonder of nature. This 54 m high and 60 m long arch was dug by the river at least 50 000 years ago. Nicknamed the "natural gateway" to the Ardèche gorges, it is one of the most visited sites in the department. Two beaches (one before and the other after the bridge) allow you to enjoy the beauty of this exceptional site for a break, a swim or a picnic.

L'une des merveilles de la Nature ! Cette arche est un point d'arrêt obligatoire si vous passez dans la région, elle nous rappelle combien nous sommes petits face aux éléments naturels !

Le célèbre Pont d'Arc, très touristique, est situé dans les Gorges de l'Ardèche. Lors de la descente en canoë kayak, vous pouvez passer en dessous ou alors avec la voiture, pour avoir une vue d'en haut. Photos obligatoires ! Mais à éviter en juillet août car beaucoup de monde !
