Located on the banks of the River Ardèche, Camping des Tunnels is a 2-star campsite in Vallon-Pont-D'Arc. It offers pitches with access to electricity and Wi-Fi, for both tents and caravans. The campsite also offers recently built mobile homes with air conditioning. This group-friendly accommodation is complemented by a wide range of services, including laundry facilities, washing machines and tumble dryers, as well as coach parking. The pizzeria and restaurant with terrace invite you to enjoy a variety of pizzas and dishes. A grocery store is also available for emergency purchases. Enjoy a wide range of leisure activities, both on site and in the surrounding area, including games for children aged 3 to 12, petanque courts, canoeing on the river (canoes can be hired on site), and a walk starting from the GR 4 long-distance footpath just 400 m away. A great address for a change of scenery!
Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und spricht verschiedene Sprachen fließend.
Von Brötchen Service bis Kanu Verleih und sogar kostenlosen Bus fahren in der Hochsaison bietet der Platz ein rundum-Service.
Ein kleiner Sand strand auf der einen Seite und ein etwas größerer Kies Strand auf der anderen Seite lädt zum Verweilen ein.
1 Stern Abzug gibt es aufgrund der Sanitär Anlage die zwar sauber aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.
Es gibt keine Klobrillen und bei den duschen ist es vorgekommen das wir an einem Abend wo etwas mehr Betrieb auf dem Platz war ausschließlich kaltes Wasser aus dem Hahn kam.
Dennoch eine klare Empfehlung.
Der Besitzer hat uns zudem vor der ansteigenden Ardeche gewarnt und bot uns an den Wohnwagen neben der Rezeption zu parken falls das Wasser über die Ufern tritt
