CASTLE MUSEUM MUNICIPAL MUSEUM

The 14th century castle where you can still admire monumental fireplaces and a spiral staircase houses the municipal museum dedicated to the rural life of yesteryear. Traditional objects are on display and you can watch several videos. A book of grievances from 1789 testifies, in particular, to the claims of the Huguenots of the Vivarais. The history of the Resistance in Désaignes and Lamastre is also evoked. In summer, the cellars are transformed into a tasting cellar and a shop selling local products.
