Since the early 1970s, the company has specialised in the manufacture of plastic pedal tractors, motorcycles and quads for children from 1 year old. Manufacturing techniques are based on the injection and extrusion blow moulding of polyolefin-type plastics. The Falk brand has the slogan "Je joue français".
History. Founded in 1947, Falquet, located in Oyonnax (Ain), specializes in the manufacture of toys under the Falk brand. In the 1970s, the strong specialisation in the production of small tractors, bulky toys, protected the company from some low-cost competition. However, Falquet has chosen to expand its range. In the factory outlet, for example, German Claas tractors, the American McCormick or even a magnificent Japanese Kubota rub shoulders with the famous Renault that launched the Falk brand. Alongside the traditional pedal tractors, there are now quads and motorcycles of all colours, including pink.
The products. Carriers from 1 to 4 years old, tractors from 2 to 5 years old, tractors from 3 to 7 years old, quads, trailers and accessories.
Employment. Around sixty employees produce 250,000 tractors per year for a turnover of around €10 million, according to the latest figures released.
