Accueil très agréable, chambre spacieuse, propre, repas du soir très bon avec un très bon rapport qualité, petit déjeuner très copieux, avec du sucré et du salé, au top !

Nous y sommes allés déjà 2 fois , 1 fois dehors et 1 fois dedans. Nous avons bien apprécié les mets , le service ainsi que l'accueil très sympathique ????

Le cadre du restaurant est très agréable et superbe ! Repas pris au coin du feu de cheminée de la salle du restaurant ???? !
La nourriture est très bonne, bcp de saveurs, tout est bien dosé ! Excellent !

Nous sommes allés à l'improviste un vendredi soir et avons eu une table pour deux. Service sympa et bonne cuisine.

Service parfait ! Corentin est toujours très accueillant et souriant. L’emplacement de l’hôtel restant est génial. Je recommande si vous êtes de passage.

Verrassend fijn hotel. Aardige ontvangst, prima kamers. Het (gratis) afgesloten parkeren is ook prettig.
We hebben ook gedineerd en ontbeten in het hotel en dat was echt boven verwachting! Aanrader, ze hebben echt een prima kok! Zeker een plek om te onthouden voor een overnachting richting het zuiden!

Très bon séjour dans cette havre de paix, juste en face le cours d eau, très agreable,
La chambre est bien spacieux, très joliment decoree Bohême chic,
Le dîner était vraiment bon, un velouté extra, une truite aux amandes petits légumes poiles, très très bien
Le petit déjeuner est varié avec de bons mets de qualité, je me suis régalée ????
Il y a un coin jardin avec piscine, vraiment joli, j y reviendrai à la belle saison c est sûr !!! Merci bien et bravo à l équipe ????????????????????????

Cuisine industrielle et cher , si vous n’êtes pas une femme n’attendez pas à un sourie du patron. Dommage , le cadre est vraiment sympa mais la cuisine et l’accueil ne suit pas !

A beautiful hotel situated next to a Big-ish river with kingfishers and trouts. They have a restaurant where you can sit outside and order typical French fast-food. The staff is the nicest, most passionate and most welcoming people. Breakfast is inside, and they serve you individually. While there is a buffet with salads and cutlery, they also give you a bowl filled with bread and little sweet tarts, muffins etc. and homemade bread. The pool is nice. Good bang for your buck.

Wir waren zum 3. Mal dort. Die ersten Male war das Essen hervorragend und das Zimmer auch nett. Diesmal : schlechtes , zu teures Essen und ein Zimmer das nach Kloake gerochen hat ! Nie wieder !

Wonderful little hotel, restaurant and bar right on the bank of the Ain river. Had parking and most importantly was dog friendly. We used the hotel as a stopover on our trip from England to Turin, but would happily have visited as the main destination.
We ate here in the evening and the staff spoke english (we were embarrassed by our lack of skill in the French language) and the food was excellent, and restaurant dog friendly.
Breakfast was equally lovely and huge, with great pastries.
Finally, the staff were all lovely and accommodating of us and the dog throughout our stay. Can't recommend it (and the location it's set in) enough!

One of the nicest hotels we stayed in this trip, only sorry we couldn't have stayed longer. We booked it simply because it slotted into our drive up from the south coast midway between Gap and Epinal. It far exceeded expectations, with such a friendly welcome, superb room and great setting overlooking the river. Breakfast was far in excess of what anyone could eat and, like the wine, beer and coffees had the previous night, very reasonably priced. The garden is set around a lovely pool with plenty of loungers and comfortable seating and there is a deck with shade for eating out and drinks. Across the small road overlooking the river are tables & seating for both guests and non-residents. Our room was large, as was the bed, given a unique atmosphere by the classic motorbike in the corner and Steve McQueen poster above it. Two comfortable armchairs, two occasional tables, a high stool and table, vintage lighting and an antique trunk completed the ambience. Everything was spotlessly clean and there is a decent sized secluded car park around the back, next to the garden. I would like particularly to note the concern of the staff when we reported my wife had mislaid her spectacles (later found in our suitcase). They spoke good English & not only searched the dining room but assured us they'd get in touch if the glasses turned up. All in all, a superb hotel in a beautiful setting, just down the hill from an interesting village.

Nous y sommes allés 2 fois printemps et été. 1 fois avons mangé en terrasse avec vue sur la saône et la 2e en bordure de leur piscine sous un très grand auvent. Menus pas très chers et bonne qualité des repas. A refaire.

Ce restaurant, découvert par hasard, en passant en voiture, s' est avéré une belle découverte à choix multiples.
Manger en terrasse près de la rivière ou au-dessus de la piscine, dîner à la carte ou avec le menu du jour...
Nous avons pris l' option "vue jardin-piscine" et goûté au menu du jour très complet (entrée-plat-dessert), abordable (moins de 20 euros en semaine), bon, copieux et bien servi.
Vraiment pas de quoi se plaindre, juste l' envie de recommencer...

Une belle étape
C'est la deuxième fois que nous faisons étape au Faisan Doré et notre première impression s'est trouvée confirmée. Une très belle chambre à un prix très raisonnable et une excellente table avec en prime un service efficace et aimable.
