Museum hosting the most important public collection in France of contemporary turned wood works, to be discovered in Lochieu.

In a verdant setting, this museum is housed in a superb Renaissance house: mullioned windows, monumental fireplace, stone cupboards, vaulted cellar, dovecote... A showcase for the permanent collections, it houses one of the world's largest collections of wood-turned artworks, with objects from yesteryear, such as this forester's hammer-axe or this strange scarecrow, or more contemporary, with original creations. Between reconstructions and exhibitions, you'll discover a whole heritage when you visit this museum.
