A new page is being turned at the Auberge des Chasseurs, a superb establishment near Geneva that has been run by the same family for 3 generations, and which was taken over this year by Sarah and Benjamin Garnache. This passionate hotel-restaurant couple is breathing new life into this exceptional site at the foot of the Jura mountains and facing the Mont-Blanc range. A haven of peace for a relaxing, gourmet stay. The chef uses the finest local produce - vegetables, fruit, peaches, game in season - in dishes with hints of home and abroad.

Les mets sont bien cuisinés, correctement proportionnés, le service est simple mais efficace, le personnel est attentif aux besoins de la clientèle. On s’est régalé avec un menu à 54€ ( entrée, plat et dessert), kir royal en apéritif, eau minéral : le tout pour 139€ pour deux c’est un peu élevé mais en région frontalière avec la Suisse, ce n’est pas surprenant. Je recommande cette adresse malgré cet aspect
