Hospital and apothecary dating from 1814, preserving apothecary elixirs and a collection of earthenware pots from Meillonnas.

It is in the old hospital of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne that this apothecary dating from 1814 is located. The sisters of Sainte-Marthe ran the two sick rooms that were organised around the chapel. A stroll is an opportunity to discover the apothecary's elixirs, and in particular an exceptional collection of 120 Meillonnas earthenware pots. Not to be missed either, the costumes of the sisters' workshop and the triptych of the Lamentation, in the tisanerie.
