An electro-drome in the small village of Magnet, displaying more than 1,000 electrical objects dating from 1860 to 1980.

In the small village of Magnet, the Electrodrome bears witness to the major changes that electrification brought to daily life. Magnet was at the heart of an experiment that began in 1939: while electricity was mainly used for lighting, electrical appliances (agricultural and everyday) were loaned to certain inhabitants for 18 months to study their impact. The experiment was repeated in 1951 with new appliances (household appliances...). The observation: the electrified rural communities are developing more than those who are not. The Electrodrome exhibits more than 1,000 electrical objects dating from 1860 to 1980.
