Situated south of the Luberon massif, almost on the banks of the Durance, this 54-hectare vineyard set in a beautiful estate has belonged to the Descours family since 1981. Château La Verrerie is one of the jewels in the appellation's crown. Small yields, manual harvesting, gravity-fed vinification...: extreme care is taken in the production of the wines to ensure total control over their quality. The wines are produced in all three colors. La Verrerie also produces olive oils in three fruity varieties: black, ripe and green.

Opening time and information on LA VERRERIE Castle

Low season: open Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday and holidays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. High season: Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 7pm; weekends and public holidays, 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 6.30pm. Fun walk along the wine trail and free wine tasting. Guided tours and master classes on reservation. Sales at the estate and on the website. The estate is open on public holidays except January 1, January 2 and December 25. Sunday, December 22, 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 6pm. Several themed tours, see website (booking essential).

The estate is superb and the council is recommended. Their wines always please table that it is daily or for a dinner with friends.

Magnificent estate,

We came with pleasure and leave rather disappointed!
Bad reception, no sense of trade!
That even say wine in it is extremely pleasant but that does not make up for the poor welcome!
