The history of the Resistance was found in and around Pernes during the Second World War. He tells the German occupation, the actions of the local group of Resistance of the Secret Army created by Gabriel A, the maquis F.T.P.F. Jean Robert. The grim massacre of 5 resistant young people, on 2 August 1944 near the Beaucet, but also the Liberation more generally in the department and region.
