THE HOLY CECILIA LANDSCAPED GARDEN
Garden on the old abandoned terraces of Sainte-Cécile with 15 terraces populated by a rich and intriguing flora.
Oppède-le-Vieux is inaccessible by car. The parking lot is located a little further down. But the game is clearly worth the candle! Such a beauty must be earned. Take good walking shoes, and bring a hat and a bottle of water in summer, because it's hard work! Cross the magnificent terraced garden to get to the village. The path passes through the undergrowth and up the hill. The landscape changes peacefully. This ornamental garden, laid out on the old abandoned terraces of Sainte-Cécile, has 15 terraces populated by a rich and intriguing flora (more than 80 species of herbaceous plants, shrubs and trees of the Luberon). An orientation table decodes the view on the valley and the Mont Ventoux. You can also consult the itinerary of the "Oppède winegrower's path" via a panel placed below the terraces.
