The fortress of Mornas dominates the region from its 137 m-high peak. The view of the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux is incomparable. Une magnifique forteresse médiévale à visiter, que vous soyez de passage ou habitant de la région ! À l'intérieur, animations et divertissements sont proposés aux curieux visiteurs. La vue de la haut est à couper le souffle !

I art historian and archaeologist and despite my many tours of historical monuments, none to date resembled the fortress Mornas! The site is located on a rocky spur, above a small village (very pleasant historic centre). Despite its height, the site is easy access (practical shuttle but perhaps a little mall organised). The main point made me put such a high touch is the quality of the visit. The latter consists of an entertainment in the castle: you become about 1:00 a churl starting to work with the castle, the service of the lord. This entertainment funny, interesting (for children and largest) and is used by volunteers with the skills as remarkable actors! The only drawback: the price (but it is worth it).
