Beautiful and quiet property offering an elaborate breakfast of local and home-made products

A beautiful, peaceful property set in 4 hectares of land planted with olive trees and green and white oaks, Domaine du Commandeur is an undeniably charming stopover. The five bedrooms with terraces offer every comfort. The suite has 2 bedrooms, 2 bath/shower rooms and a TV lounge. A hearty breakfast, made with local or homemade products, is served on the terrace. In the living room, you can curl up on a sofa by the fireplace if the Mistral is blowing outside. In summer, take advantage of the large swimming pool and park.

Een oase van rust in de prachtige Provençaalse natuur, met een hartelijke gastvrouw en gastheer die elke avond de table d’hôtes tot een gezellige en smakelijke ervaring maken. Wij hebben hier als gezin een week doorgebracht en komen graag nog eens terug!

Prachtige kamer, zeer vriendelijke eigenaren en een fantastisch ontbijt. Wij waren hier als tussenstop en hadden om 19:00 uur gebeld of er nog een kamer vrij was en of het een probleem was als we om 21:00 uur aan zouden komen.. Deze was er gelukkig en we kregen na een korte ontvangst en incheck, ook nog op verzoek een heerlijke fles rode wijn.

Un lieu magique, des patrons très sympathiques, une piscine de rêve, les chambres de qualité, originales, calmes. Je ne peux que recommander ce gîte chambres d'hôtes ! On a aussi passé une soirée avec un repas de qualité, de bons vins sans compter un superbe petit déjeuner ....

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The hosts (Catherine and Patrick) were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable (we had a lovely private balcony). The pool was cool yet inviting and there were plenty of sunbeds available. We had a lovely meal with the hosts on the first night. You don't sit at separate tables but at one long table with the other guests but this made the experience more homely. There were bikes available for us to cycle in the beautiful countryside and Catherine also allowed us to use a fridge to cool our drinks and snacks.

There was a little sign of renovation works but these had been covered up. First impressions were a little disappointing as the entrance is just a gravelly path and the sign for the car park is handwritten on cardboard. It would be much nicer to have welcoming wooden signage both for the car park and the entrance. Having said that our initial disappointment was quickly overcome by the wonderful, warm hospitality of the hosts. Highly recommended...we would come again for sure.
