The Domaine Chante Cigale was created in 1874 by Hyppolite Jourdan. Since 1950, the vineyard has extended over 35 parcels located on the best terroirs of Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Pignan, Bois Dauphin, Le Pied Long, Cabrières, Les Gallimardes, La Roquette¦). Today, the vineyard, essentially and naturally equipped with old vines, is managed by Alexandre Favier. Since then, the family history of the Chant des Cigales has continued. The wines of the estate are the result of hereditary know-how and an alchemy between a terroir and people. Alexandre Favier is also part of the ART association (Ambiance Rhône Terroir) for the logistics part, which will also allow you to have other wines from the Rhône valleys (Côte du Rhône Septentrional, Méridional, all the way to Costière de Nîmes) in your order.
