Museum installed in a former basketry workshop in Cadenet.

It is said that two thirds of the families in the village lived from basketry until 1978. Their excellence was recognized throughout the country. And besides, the pieces in the museum were made by the inhabitants. And you will be surprised by the hats, cribs, toys, chairs and baskets of course. The museum is housed in a former basketry workshop: La Glaneuse. Children should be fascinated by the manufacturing techniques in basketry from 1780 to the present day and the audio-visual montage on the daily life of the basket makers.
