Fed by the Mirail spring, Etang de la Bonde is the largest lake in the Luberon. Swimming is supervised from July¹ to August 31 on the main beach. In addition to the large beach near the campsite, there are a number of south-facing beaches at the foot of the Aleppo pine-wooded hillside, offering quieter, unsupervised swimming. In high season, it's best to go early in the morning. A few pedal-boats are available for the crossing.
