Take a cable car unique in France for its sea-mountain route to this mountain that hosts a zoo and a memorial.
Toulon's mountain! At 584 meters, its name comes from the Provencal "faro", meaning lighthouse. To get there, you can take a winding road or climb aboard one of the red cabins of the cable car. The 6-minute ride from sea to mountain is unique in France, and in the world... except in Rio de Janeiro! At the top, a store and two restaurants await you, as well as the Faron zoo, the Mémorial du Débarquement de Provence and a small chapel.

do not have vertigo but once in top that is worth it. magnificent views, average zoo however
The bus for day, you can go up to mount faron by the cable car and it is not to be missed: view on the roads of Toulon is breathtaking.
Do not have vertigo because Mont Faron spectacular if you is mounted by cable car. There is a magnificent view over Toulon and Seyne/Sea.
