DOMAINE DE L'ESTAGNOL
The vineyard of the Domaine de l'Estagnol belongs to the Dupuy family, who have also been in the woods for 600 years. This is why Sandrine made her own wine using wooden presses until 2017, a know-how passed on by her family for 6 generations. Since 2018, however, the owners have invested in a more modern pneumatic system. The Domaine has several labels: Bienvenue à la ferme, as well as Vignoble et découverte. It also has 3 appellations: Vins de France, Côtes de Provence and Bandol. Wines of France by terroir with plots of land in valleys. In cubes of 5 l, there is a cuvée Flavio (red), Elise (rosé) and Gabriel (white). The vines of the Côtes de Provence are on the plain and, for the record, Sandrine has launched a competition among her loyal customers who have created "la cuvée des fidèles" (also available in white). For the Bandol, the plots of land are terraced, the grape variety is 90% Mourvedre and 10% Grenache for the red. As for the Bandol rosés, their grape variety is composed of 1/3 mourvedre, 1/3 grenache and 1/3 cynsault. The Bandol cuvée "Le Cabanon d'Hélène" (named after Sandrine's mother's first name) exists in both red and rosé. The Domaine de l'Estagnol is one of the smallest Bandol productions, it is a little less than 2 hectares.
