In the heart of this picturesque village with its shady squares, La Fontaine is the new address opened by Nicolas and Alexandre Fantoni, who offer four-season Mediterranean cuisine and trendy Bowlfood. The Provencal ambience is reflected in the dishes: grilled cuttlefish, octopus daube, aioli, homemade gnocchi with bacon and Reblochon cream, farmhouse pork chops with truffles. Asian variants of the bowlfood trend complete a menu created by local chef Florent Bachelot.

My partner and I ran through torrential rain at times to have lunch at this place and it didn’t disappoint. I had the pork chop which was good but the fat could’ve been rendered down quite a bit more to be honest, however the meat itself was moist and tasty. Frank had a ginormous burger that also contained a hunk of Camembert which only pleased him more. FYI it’s not like the rest of France whereby if you ask it for medium it’ll come out medium-rare… so if you want it M-R then ask for it that way. The star of both meals were the fries; hand cut chips dark in colour from frying in oil that’s been used again and again, just how your nanna used to make them. The service was so so and we were made to feel a little unwelcome at times, but thankfully the chef is better at his job than the waiting staff.

Revestois, nous venons en famille très régulièrement et ne sommes jamais déçus par la qualité des produits proposés. De plus, le service est toujours irréprochable. Rapport qualité/prix imbattable pour la région.

Excellente adresse du revest, village varois pittoresque à quelques encablures de Toulon, accueil sympathique et décontracté, cuisine de chef travaillée donnant des plats pleins de saveurs avec un goût de "reviens-y"... dommage il manquait la figue rôtie dans le poisson ce qui aurait sublimé l'ensemble... crème brûlée maison (ce qui est assez rare pour ne pas le signaler).... prix actuel bref c'est pas donné mais l'adresse vaut le détour ????
