Nicknamed Varoise Switzerland at the beginning of the century because of its many sources, its landscaped lake and its vegetation, Le Revest is located in the center of a circle of hills, between Mount Caume to the west, the Grand Cap to the north, and the Coudon to the east - do not fail to climb it on foot or in car: superb panorama from its (almost) summit, from the Golden Islands at the peninsula of Saint-Mandrier. The village also has some vestiges of the past, a tower, medieval ruin of the Revesto castrum of the twelfth century, a castle of the sixteenth century and a church dedicated to Saint Christophe - the seventeenth century - hosting many paintings of the eighteenth century.
