Dracen institution preparing a short menu of Italian inspiration, pasta and inventive pizzas

Mathieu and Lydie Cassin have taken over the former Bouffon, a Dracen institution, and completely redesigned it to create a large space with a neat and friendly decoration. Large family tables or tête-à-tête, everyone finds his place. As for the cuisine, the Italian-inspired menu is short and updated with the seasons. The risottos are as creamy as you wish and are available with scallops and pistou, gambas and chorizo, courgette flowers, tomatoes and olives, or black pudding with American sauce. The pasta and pizzas are inventive and tasty.

Je suis venue manger pour un repas professionnel en décembre 2023 et j'ai agréablement été surprise. J'y suis retournée avec mon conjoint un midi et là encore on a apprécié. Le service a été rapide, le personnel sympathique, la cuisine est délicieuse (on sent la qualité des produits et le fait maison) et les assiettes sont plus que copieuses. Pour le coup hier nous avons essayé les pizzas (commande à emporter) et malgré un restaurant plein ils étaient à l'heure pour leur préparation. Elles sont vraiment délicieuses (je mets un 5 étoiles pour l'Italienne ????) et à un prix raisonnable pour la qualité des ingrédients.
