The Maison du Luthier / Musée, located in the former home of Jacques Antoine Pajot in Jenzat, immerses you in the history of the region's famous hurdy-gurdy and bagpipe makers. Jenzat, world capital of the hurdy-gurdy, saw the instrument's first production in 1795. The museum features a rich collection of traditional French instruments: hurdy-gurdies, bagpipes, accordions, violins and much more. You'll also discover antique tools, workshops and an auditorium with films on instrument making and playing.
