With W Safari, the races in Cameroon are located in the north at about 250 km from Garoua over a 180 000 hectare area. The campsite dominates Faro where there are a large number of hippos in the river just below and where it is also possible to fish or swim. The National Park, with its wildlife reserve, and the river and the mountainous chain that border it make Faro a unique area in Cameroon and rich in discovery. Thanks to this rich biotope, the Faro welcomes a variety of wildlife and large concentrations. In addition, 300 kilometres of trails are regularly maintained and a quality car park allows access to the deepest of nature. If the Derby éland is the most coveted game on the area, it is possible to come hunting a large amount of antelopes or warthogs. Hunting in Cameroon is allowed from 1 December to 31 May, and takes place in a dry and pleasant climate.
