THÉÂTRE DE TARASCON
Theater
4.4/5
Recommended
This magnificent 1829 building, restored in a baroque style of origin, has the apse of the ancient church of Dominicans (second half of the th century). The pediment representing the two angels is a work by Tarasconnais Jean-Barnabé Amy, a renowned sculptor whose famous «Tambour Drum» still rises on the square of Cadenet in Vaucluse. The municipal theatre offers a programme worthy of the largest French rooms. From theatre, dance, humor, coffee-theater, opera and opera, there are for all tastes.
