The Aumance, a catchment river crossing Hedgehog, was in the past suitable for the installation of many mills. A 1 km upstream of Hedgehog, the Cut Mill is one of them and his owner is happy to open his doors and show the particularity of his mill: a Sagebien standard hydraulic wheel 6 metres in diameter. The visit is complemented by comments on the historical aspect of the Moulins mills between Cosne-d'Allier and Meaulne since 1500, as well as by presenting some parts of the old mechanism.
