Ultra-fresh fish and various dishes to be tasted in a restaurant on the Lou Santen beach in Saintes-Marie-de-la-Mer.

The Calypso is a continuation of the Lou Santen beach. In the plates, always ultra-fresh fish from the Mediterranean, very copious meal salads and French meat. We recommend the fish tartar, the tellines with aïoli and the Lou Santen salads. To be enjoyed under a pergola of reeds or on the beach, with your feet in the sand. And for the pleasure of the eyes: the blue of the sea which merges with that of the sky, a perfectly maintained beach, comfortable deckchairs... A little corner of paradise!

Nous a gâché la journée, nous avons réservé la veille pour un emplacement sur la plage privée, arrive le lendemain aucune réservation à notre nom et on nous répond que le serveur était « probablement bourré » et qu’il n’a rien noté, passons… Ils devaient nous appeler quand une place pour manger allait se libérer… NUL! Nous avons attendu plus d’une heure et au final pour un déjeuner degueulasse! Je n’ai jamais mangé des moules aussi mauvaises! Plus salé on ne pouvait pas faire mais la cuisinière avait l’air sûre d’elle…. Métier à revoir je pense. Enfin… à fuir!!!! Et hors de prix pour quelque chose d’aussi mauvais!!!!

A FUIR !! Réservation non prise au sérieux, quand nous arrivons sur place on nous dit " le serveur devait être ivre il a pas pris la réservation", on demande à pouvoir manger, on nous dit de patienter qu’on nous rappelle 30 min après. Nous patientons plus d’une heure sans nouvelles, nous retournons sur place. Service approximatif, repas degueulasse LES PIRES MOULES que j’ai mangé de ma vie !!

Le lieu est assez joli, pagotte vue mer.
Attente interminable pour manger si vous ne réserver pas de suite. Serveurs sympathiques. Prix exorbitants pour 2 transat et des moules frites trop salées. La Terrasse devrait être interdite aux fumeurs. Dommage car il y a du potentiel!
