Restaurant offering the cuisine of Michel Charlet accompanied by a wine list at very low prices in the centre of Rognac.

Located in the centre of Rognac, 100 m from the church, hidden in a small street, this restaurant is a small nugget as you love them. Beautifully decorated with its apparent stone vaults and its magnificent th-century mill mill and well-spaced tables, we love to be comfortable to enjoy Michael Charlet's cuisine. It must be said that the connoisseurs come from the whole region for his very famous Tatin pie in foie gras and the rest is worth the detour too, see yourself. Abundance abundance and son fillet, carpaccio of foie gras and dried tomatoes, civet of gambas, cassolette from Saint-Jacques to chanterelles, true fisherman's pot, pure treat, Rossini way. Very nice wine list at all-small prices. Une très belle soirée passée à la Grotte du Loup. Accueil sympa. Patron/Cuisinier venu nous voir en fin de dîner. Ce changement de propriétaire depuis novembre 2022 amène une nouvelle touche. Pour ma part, j'ai choisi le chevêche de dorade en entrée et le thon en plat principal, et j'ai complété par une assiette de fromages. Un bon rapport qualité/prix. J'y retournerai sachant que la carte change toute les 7 semaines.

Excellente adresse. La déco est un peu vieillotte mais la cuisine excellente et ce, malgré le changement de propriétaire. Le service est très professionnel. A faire !
La cuisine est une cuisine française traditionnelle. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le bœuf Rossini et les kirs aux parfums très régionaux (pain d'épice, basilic, etc.).
Attention, peu de places disponibles et pas de terrasse, mieux vaut réserver à l'avance.
