OCB recruits new Volunteer librarians every year. The Marseille OCB lend some 400 000 pounds every year and tries to get out of the library walls, especially in the prisons. This association relies on the donation of books by individuals and on the work of volunteers to hold hotlines in libraries.

Open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 4pm; Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 12pm. A network of 33 libraries from neighborhood, 20 hospital libraries, 1 library for children (Sainte-Anne) and 1 games library (hospital of La Timone).
