At the foot of the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde hill (the « Bonne Mère » [Good Mother] of Marseille!), this ancient pilgrimage path is strewn on both sides by Aleppo pine, cypress, oaks, cedars and olive trees. As you ascend, you will discover the latest developments with beautiful lawns, a pedestrian path in the pine forest, bowling green and sports fields. As you get to the Basilica, you will be happy to discover a marvellous land and sea side view on over 154 metres.
