For 11 years now, this foundation has been working to help victims of discrimination on the basis of their sexuality. The Refuge's premises provide temporary accommodation for young people who are often rejected by their families because of their sexual orientation. The foundation's work is exemplary and incomparable. It provides vital psychological support and careful accompaniment to these victims. Transphobia is also treated. More than ever, we must remain aware of violence against women, a real scourge of our society, causing several hundred victims each year. Marseille is obviously not spared by this phenomenon despite a real collective awareness. Among the structures in place to help women victims of violence, this association whose office is located near Castellane. Listening, emergency accommodation, prevention and training are provided here by the brilliant team of Solidarité Femmes 13. Anonymity and discretion assured, it will take time before things change but the work of these volunteers is to be commended.
