The sound library of Marseille is one of the 120 audio libraries of the voice donor association. Its purpose is to register books and magazines on digital media (CD, USB key…) to lend them free to visually impaired people. It is managed by ten volunteers and twenty-five voices donors who record between 150 and 200 books per year. It currently has over 2 000 books and journals, downloadable from its online catalogue. About 250 "audio-readers" currently use its services.
