Opened in 2001, the Montevideo creation center directed by Hubert Colas, located at the top of rue de Breteuil, is a key contemporary art venue in Marseille. Dedicated primarily to contemporary scenic writing, part of the program presents a series of encounters in partnership with other structures, enabling us to discover new talents and new forms of writing and aesthetics, ranging from improvised music to electro-acoustic research, poetry and performance. Not always easy to access, but exciting. Montevideo builds bridges between theater, video, music... Every Wednesday evening, for part of the year, from 7:30 pm to midnight, we organize evenings around a glass and a plate, to share an artistic proposal. Readings, concerts, DJ sets, exhibitions...
