Mas en Ville with a Zen atmosphere, between the Prefecture and the Cours Julien, offers a swimming pool, accommodation and a dormitory.

On a sloping street between the Prefecture and the Cours Julien, you'll be surprised by the smell of wax and lavender as you enter Le Mas en Ville. From floor to ceiling, everything has been done to immerse you in Provence: from Marseilles floor tiles to traditional stonework. a total of 14 accommodations, including a brand-new suite inaugurated in 2020, as well as a 9-bed dormitory. In this rustic setting, you'll find a Zen atmosphere with all modern comforts. Special mention for the organic breakfast (gluten-free possible), with its honey and homemade jam.

Owner's Message

Passionate about architecture and traditional know-how, the owners of the place called upon the journeymen-builders "l'Atelier de la Pierre", to restore and transform the building in the rue des Bergers into a real Provencal Mas. This project gave birth to this soft and pleasant guest house, in which the aesthetics of the houses of yesteryear and the comfort of today are harmoniously combined.

Un Mas en ville offers rooms for 1 to 9 people, with evocative names, Sainte-Victoire, Frédéric Mistral, Garlaban, Félibres... and Provencal decor.

The rooms on the upper floors are furnished with antique furniture found in local flea markets and renovated, coloured with traditional "boutis" bedspreads.

The evocative names given to the rooms, Sainte-Victoire, Frédéric Mistral, Sormiou, Callelongue, Garlaban, Félibres, L'Estaque, are an invitation to discover our beautiful Provence which has inspired the most famous painters, poets and writers

Een klein romantisch hotel ideaal om vertoeven in het centrum van Marseille. Heel vriendelijk personeel, zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Heel proper en verzorgd. Ontbijt met overheerlijje verse biologische producten. Een aanrader.
