Behind its allure as a simple tobacconist's bar, L'Alchimiste has made a name for itself in the Cours Julien district's gastronomic scene. Its main asset: a tempting menu of sophisticated tapas. Its little extra: a hidden patio, bucolic and refreshing in summer. The service is friendly and relaxed, just like the neighborhood. The good-humored clientele is encouraged by the location. We tasted delicious melt-in-the-mouth pork ribs, succulent herb ricotta gnocchi and roasted chipirons stuffed with black rice. An address to consider!

Un bon établissement, ambiance sympathique cependant les tapas sont a mon goût beaucoup trop chers pour moi (12 euros pour 3 samoussas qui ne sont pas des samoussas mais des nems...).
Les burgers sont très appétissants et je pense qu'il est mieux de prendre ça plutôt que les tapas

To be honest, I was far more impressed with the tapas than the cocktails. Even the simple stuff like panisse and fries were amazing! We are definitely coming again and very soon too so we can try the rest of the menu (we tried half of it) and give the cocktails another shot.
Also, the atmosphere is amazing. The music is not too loud , the place looks clean and it was almost full on a Tuesday night!
