Restaurant offering a menu written in Japanese and French.

A good little Japanese restaurant run by two women, two mothers in this case as the name of the establishment indicates, Okäsan, "mother" in Japanese. The card is written in Japanese and French, so don't panic! The decoration is authentic, made of Japanese objects and the menu changes every month. There is also a special dish of the day. Dishes are served in bentos boxes and sushi and sashimi are excellent. To accompany it, a bowl of rice, miso soup, salad or vegetables. A short trip to the land of the rising sun that begins at the entrance with the small reconstituted Japanese garden. A reputed address where a reservation is required!

Regrettably, my one-star experience at this Japanese restaurant was compounded by the owner's condescending and patronizing behavior. The food was good but from the moment we entered, there was a discernible air of condescension. The owner's patronizing attitude was palpable in every reply and look. A truly enjoyable dining experience extends beyond just the food, encompassing respectful and considerate service, which unfortunately was lacking in this case.
