CERCLE DE L’AVIRON DE MARSEILLE
The Cercle de l'Aviron de Marseille (Marseille Rowing Club), which has been based in l'Estaque for almost a century, is the sports association governed by the French Law of 1901 that took over from the Cercle des Scullers Marseillais. Originally comprising only a rowing section, CAM has since added a yachting section. The Cercle de l'Aviron de Marseille has been awarded the 3-star French Rowing School label for its collective qualities and values. Awarded by the Fédération Française des Sociétés d'Aviron (French Federation of Rowing Societies), which regularly checks criteria, this guarantee of welcome, teaching, good equipment and safety is a source of pride for the club, which is also discreet and good-natured in regional races and championships. Club membership also includes access to a weight room open until 9pm. And after all that effort, you'll have access, if you wish, to the club's restaurant. This club is ideal for anyone with a craving for team rowing. Rowing is a sport in which the French excel on the international scene, and by joining the club, who knows, maybe you'll become THE new French coxswain?
