Château de la Buzine lies in the heart of a valley between Saint-Menet and Les Camoins in Marseille's arrondissement.

This castle away from the city centre used to be in the countryside. Today it is surrounded by the magnificent park of the Seven Hills. Popularized by Yves Robert's film Le Château de ma mère (My Mother' s Castle ), it has become a complete cultural venue that now houses the Maison des Cinématographiesde la Méditerranée. Rehabilitated in 2011, there is a splendid old-fashioned movie theatre. You can consult there archives and rare cinematographic documents. The second floor is dedicated to the literary and cinematographic works of Marcel Pagnol.
