Located below the village of Les Baux, the Val d'Enfer is an amazing place. The name already makes you shudder, but when you see the shapes carved in the limestone by erosion, it is easy to understand why the ancients believed that the gates of the infernal world opened here. In a note, Frédéric Mistral suggested that Dante was inspired by this place to imagine his Inferno. à 10 minutes des Baux en Provence, ce site permet de prendre un peu de recul et d'approcher la nature par une ballade d'une dizaine de minutes hors de la cohue des Baux
Is located between Saint-Rémy and Baux.Une magnificent view from this endrois on the Beams not to be missed if you are in the regions. However, remember to request information before because when the heat and wind this endrois can be forbidden traffic
