At the midnight mass in Saint Vincent church, the inhabitants of Les Baux-de-Provence return to this very ancient ceremony and animated the living crèche. The pastrage pays tribute to the shepherds. This very ancient pastoral custom corresponds to the period of lambing. The procession is illuminated by light lights passing through the village. POST TENEBRAS LUX

Exhibition

Post tenebras lux is a Calvinist Latin inscription, found on the entablature of a cross-window, the only vestige of the former large residence that occupied this place and which means light after darkness.
