Doris Happel has been working with porcelain for more than 25 years and chose it when she moved to Provence in the 2000s. A noble and elegant material that she works for its transparency, first white, then black, red or blue monochrome colors that are inserted like a painting to transform everyday objects. Strongly inspired by wabi sabi, her original work as a visual artist asserts itself in the evocation of a permeability. A demanding artist, whose abundant universe is to be discovered.
