This 5.8 km family mountain-bike ride along the river crosses the Canal Latéral à la Loire twice, following small roads to the pretty stone and steel bridge, then on to the Port des Vanneaux, where you can admire the pleasure boats at Gannay-sur-Loire from the picnic tables lining the harbor. The history of this village is intimately linked to the river and its canal. It boasts a lock with a 3.50-meter drop, the eleventh of thirty-seven locks on this 200 km-long canal.
